Critical Notes
Maximum number of words: 4,000. Papers submitted to this section are initially revised by the Editorial Board. If they fulfil the purposes and editorial policy of the journal, they are sent to external reviewers for assessment. They must include some form of critical philosophical reflection on the work, highlighting its strengths and/or weaknesses, discussing its most important theses, and, to the extent possible, proposing alternative arguments or concepts. The title is at the author’s discretion, and the subtitle must follow this format: “About/On [Title of the work being reviewed], by [Author of the work being reviewed].” Example:
Book reviews
Maximum number of words: 2000. Works submitted to this section are revised by the editorial board. Reviews are primarily descriptive, although they may include some form of philosophical assessment of the book under review. The books reviewed must be by Ibero-American authors or editors and must have been published no more than four years ago, unless the most recent editions include substantive changes to the text or additions that warrant analysis. The title should consist of the details of the book being reviewed, in this format: “Author, Title of the book being reviewed, City of publication, Publisher, Year, number of pages.” Example:
Nora Stigol, Alicia Gianella y Diego Lawler, Una trilogía que importa: Autoconocimiento, deliberación y engaño, Buenos Aires, Eudeba, 2024, 204 pp.
